Major Nathan Fleischaker is a Marine Corps Infantry Officer currently serving as the Chief of Operational Plans at U.S. Marine Forces Cyberspace Command in Fort Meade, MD. He oversees the planning efforts to provide Cyberspace Operations support to Combatant Commands and secure and defend the Marine Corps’ networks. Prior to this assignment he served as the Operations Officer and a Company Commander for Infantry Battalions in Camp Pendleton, CA. 

Nathan has completed multiple overseas tours including combat deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. He has also participated in numerous bi- and multi-lateral partnerships and exercises in the Asia/Pacific and Middle East regions. 

Nathan graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 2003 and holds graduate degrees from Oxford University and the Marine Corp University’s School of Advanced Warfighting. Originally from Carlsbad, CA he currently lives in Columbia, MD with his wife Lisa and their three children.
