Sharon Marcil

Sharon is a Senior Partner and Managing Director with The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in their Washington, DC office. Today, Sharon leads BCG's Public Sector practice in the Americas. She is also a member of the Americas Leadership Team and BCG's Global Executive Committee. Sharon joined BCG in 1993 and has held many leadership positions throughout her career with BCG. 

In 2007, Sharon was named one of the "Top 25 Most Influential Consultants" and subsequently was named one of fice "Women Leaders in Consulting" by the Consulting Magazine.

Across  two decades, Sharon has led a variety of transformation efforts at the world's largest companies – including orchestrating the largest merger in the consumer products sector across the past several years, and leading the multiyear cost and productivity transformation of one of the world's largest beauty companies. She has also been a pioneer in bringing corporate best practice to the federal sector – leading reorganization and strategy efforts at the Departments of Treasury, Education, and Fannie Mae.
