Special Assistant to the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations and Low Intensity Conflict
Timothy Strabbing, a graduate of the Naval Academy and the University of Oxford, deployed to the Anbar province of Iraq twice between 2004 and 2006 as a Marine infantry officer. Following his deployments, he spent three years in the Naval Academy’s Political Science Department, teaching courses on American foreign policy and irregular warfare. Beginning in September 2009, Tim will serve as the Special Assistant to the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations and Low Intensity Conflict.
