3 things Congress could do in response to the massacre in Orlando

While Democrats have largely been emphasizing the need for gun control and protections for the LGBT community in the aftermath of the Orlando massacre, Republicans have almost universally been emphasizing something else: fighting terrorism.

"We have to destroy the Islamic State," Florida Gov. Rick Scott (R) said Monday on CNN when asked what can be done to prevent another shooting like this.
