Katherine Kidder's Latest Review Essay in FPRI's Orbis
This is no typical summer in July for CNAS staff. Adding to the full force includes Research Associate Katherine Kidder's new essay in Orbis, a publication by the Foreign Policy Research Institute. In "Protecting the Bay of the Bengal," Katherine review a number of books related to Bangladeshi history and U.S. involvement in the region:
"The U.S. Navy may be destined for a grand power balancing game in the Indian and Pacific Oceans, but it is more likle to be deployed on account of environmental emergency, which is what makes Bangladesh and its problems so urgent."
