Asia-Pacific Security Program Director Patrick Cronin testified before the House Committee on Foreign Affairs on America's security role in the South China Sea. Dr. Cronin argues that growing tensions in the South China Sea are threatening to arrest one of the most significant developments in modern history: namely, the rise of Asia and the largely U.S.-created order on which stability and prosperity rest.
