On Wednesday, January 4, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m., the Center for a New American Security (CNAS) held a book launch for The Partnership: Five Cold Warriors and Their Quest to Ban the Bomb by award-winning journalist Philip Taubman. Taubman shed light on one of the most divisive security issues facing Washington today and told the story of the unlikely efforts of five key Cold War players to eliminate the nuclear arsenal they helped create.
